It temporarily reduces muscle activity to smooth frown lines. It is designed to deliver natural-looking, subtle results without the effect of looking overdone or unnatural. How long is the Botox treatment appointment?

We administer Botox right in our downtown Seattle office. The injection only takes about half an hour, depending on the areas we’re targeting. Many of our patients stop by for their Botox treatment during their lunch break and are free to return back about their day after.

Is it painful?

As with all our procedures, we take care to minimalize pain and discomfort during your appointment. Most patients admit that they experience only slight discomfort that quickly diminished.

How many injections will I need?

Depending on where we’re injecting the Botox, the process could be three to five injections. The crow’s feet area only needs three, while frown lines and forehead areas usually require five injections to relax the muscles. When you meet with us, we’ll discuss your best course of action and develop a treatment plan that’s unique to you.

Is there any recovery or downtime?

Usually, there is no downtime or recovery time. You are free to carry about your day after our appointment. Some bruising or swelling may occur but should fade quickly.

How long after Botox do you see results?

Botox takes about two weeks for results to appear on your face. They then last several months. We recommend scheduling follow-up appointments and a schedule to maintain the results you desire as Botox dissolves over time.
